Our pets are a part of our family and it's important to feel good about who is caring for them while your away.
As a pet owner I truly understand what a difficult decision this can be. For years my husband and I took separate vacations due to a bad experience and a huge lack of trust when it comes to others caring for our "family" members.
The Jimmydog Company offers responsible, reliable, professional and loving care so you can enjoy your time away, worry free.
A little more about me.........
I am a professional dog trainer. Helping pets and their owners with obedience as well as behavioral issues.
As a trainer, I am very comfortable with all breeds, types and temperaments.
This allows us to confidently and comfortably care for pets that may not be good candidates for other sitters.
I am a certified Pet First-Aid & CPR instructor. Teaching the life saving skills and techniques, as well as the preventative measures, that are vital for all pet owners and pet care professionals.
All of our sitters (as well as many of our clients) are trained and certified in pet first aid & CPR.
I am an owner/breeder of Egyptian Arabian horses and very familiar and comfortable with horses, livestock and other large or exotic animals.
Another important point to mention would be that your pets are my full time job. My time is devoted to their needs and yours.
We also have several truly fantastic people on our team that serve as our back-up and as part time sitters.
And of course, last but not least, I am a loving pet owner myself.

Pet Sitting In Your Home-
The prices below are for up to 3 dogs and a cat or two. Additional pets may (or may not) require an additional fee.
We have experience with many health and medical issues. Medications, Sub-Q fluids, Insulin injections etc.
There is no extra charge for these services provided they can be completed in the scheduled amount of time.
Initial Consultation- No Charge.
At the consultation you can expect to meet two of us. This ensures that there is a backup that you and your pets are familiar with. At this time we will meet you and your pets, answer any questions you may have for us and discuss your pets needs and routine. Should you decide to use our services by the end of the consultation, we will have an agreement for you to sign and we will collect 2 house keys. (Please be sure to check that they work before we arrive. New keys are sometimes a problem:)
Additional consultations- $20.00
Key pick up/drop off $15.00 (if at time other than consultation)

Overnights $75.00 - Pet and House Sitting all in one!
Approx. 12 to 14 hr. overnight stay. We will arrive between 4 & 7PM and leave your house between 5 & 9 AM the next morning. If your pets are used to a slightly different time schedule let us know.
Additional midday visits require an additional charge.
**Mileage charge for all visits may apply if outside a 15 mile radius.

Personal In Home Boarding-
In addition to the in your home pet sitting services above, we also offer limited, cage free boarding in our home. During your pets stay they will be in our home with us and our pets and will be treated as one of the family. There are numerous comfy dog beds throughout the house as well as a room just for them, with dog friendly furniture and a dog door that leads to a safe and secure play and potty area. (Somehow, even with all that, they end up on the sofa with us and taking over our bed at night!) An 2nd dog door leading to our back patio and fenced backyard offer additional play and lounging area.
We limit our boarding to a small number of dogs. This allows for lots of individual attention and we all still have a relaxed home that everyone can be safe and comfortable in.
All boarded dogs must be good with other dogs and current on vaccinations, including bordatella. (kennel cough) We ask that they are on a flea & tick prevention program such as Frontline, etc. (*Please see note below on pest control)
We ask that you supply us with enough of your dogs food to last through their stay. It's not necessary to bring their bed or toys. We have lots of both!
Everyone is very respectful of each other and we do our part to support you by reinforcing good manners and behavior while here.
$35.00/day per dog
Discounts for Multi-dog families & extended stay visits.
Pick up and/or drop off service available for an additional fee.
Day care-
Dog day care has many benefits. One of the biggest is the peace of mind you get knowing that your dog, is in a fun, safe, comfortable enviroment and isn't chewing up your new coffee table or leaving "presents" for you to clean up after a long day at work!
They get plenty of healthy socialization with people as well as other dogs and our cat , Bob. Daycare can also be a great place for a new puppy. We help them to develop, and reinforce, the good habits and manners that they may not be as quick to learn if left home alone.
To qualify for dog day care your dog must meet the same requirements as stated above for boarding.
$25.00/day
$20.00/day for multi-dog & frequent attendees.
Pick up and/or drop off service available for an additional fee.

*Pest Control- We were very careful when selecting a pest control company for our home. The company that we use has a very "green" approach. We feel confident that the products used, and the way in which they work, are safe for your pets as well as ours.
